IBPS RRB Office Assistant Eligibility Criteria
IBPS RRB Office Assistant Eligibility Criteria:- Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will be conducted Common Written Test (CWE) for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). The eligibility criteria of Office Assistant is mentioned below. Prospective Candidates should ensure that they fulfil the specified eligibility criteria before applying for the IBPS CWE. Please note that the eligibility criteria specified herein are the basic criteria for applying for Office Assistant vacancies.

IBPS RRB Office Assistant Eligibility Criteria Details
1. Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate must be either -
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

2. Age Limit (As on 01/07/2015): Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than 02/07/1987 and later than 01/07/1997 (both dates inclusive).

3. Age Relaxation: Relaxation as per the Government norms is applicable. For more details about Age Relaxation, Refer To Detailed Notification.

4. Educational Qualification: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB/s. Knowledge of Computer skills.

Local Language Proficiency : The candidates applying for the posts of Office Assistants – (Multipurpose) will be able to register their preference only to such RRBs if they possess the proficiency in the local language.
